Normally Cambodian always eat fish, shrimp, salad and rice. The food that can mostly represent Cambodia is salad. 3.    Rice Noodles

Rice noodles is a really popular breakfast in Cambodia, because they will put in special sauce with lemon juice. This can make the soup taste much better. Only remember to try before 12pm since their rice noodle is only for breakfast.

4.    Strew Fry Beef

This is a popular dish for local people. They use special sauce to fry with beef. The taste is especially amazing and the texture is amazing also. How they make is they will marinade the meat with different sauce, then will stir fry with different vegetable. After they finish cooking, they will put some lime juice to bring the taste out.

5.    Fish with sour Soup

This dish is originally from Miao, Its super sour and spicy. They use pepper and many nutrition Chinese medicine to cook the soup. After that, they will use tomato soup. The good fish soup suppose is white color. If you put onion, yellow bean can make the taste even better.

6.    Amok

They use fish, chicken and other materials wrapped in banana leaves and baked. Then, they add coconut milk, lemon leaves and a variety of vegetable and spices. At last, they use coconut shell to decorate the dish. It is a really traditional food from Cambodia.

7.    Spring Roll

In Cambodia, they have 2 different types of spring roll. One look like the one from Vietnam. The skin is really thin that you can see through what’s inside. The other one is look like Chinese spring roll. They will fry it and dip with special sauce. It is delicious. For their traditional Khmer-style (Cambodian) spring rolls, they used chicken, fresh basil, bean sprouts, carrot, cucumber, green beans, garlic, and spring roll shells.

8.    Cambodia Hotpot

The traditional Cambodia style hotpot use the pot, and they use different Chinese medicines and different spices. This style hotpot look like a Chinese hot pot. They will put meat in the hotpot and eat with vegetable when its cooked. Adding soup to the hot pot while the grill gets hot on top. Noodles and veggies can be seen on the side. The grill is on the top and as the meat grills it drains into the broth below where you cook veggies and noodles. Our mixed plate to grill included alligator meat and all other kinds of beef, pork, chicken and squid.  We ordered a double portion and gobbled it all up.
